The Bahamas Medical Council (BMC) is now offering accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.

Accredited activities must meet rigorous standards for educational quality and independence from commercial bias, with the goal of supplying educational opportunities for physicians that lead to improvement in healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Please use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate through the requirements and process of BMC CME accreditation.  A video about the BMC requirements for CME as well as the application process is also available by clicking here.

Contact us via email at if you have any questions.

The BMC prohibits commercial interests from being involved in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of BMC accredited CME.  Organizations that are BMC-defined commercial interests* may not submit applications with or on behalf of eligible organizations.

* Commercial interest - A firm that produces, markets, resells or distributes healthcare products used by or on patients.
